Bob the Builder, Beach Bomb Baby, Boo boos & Beautiful Florida Weather

I have said it before and I will say it again...I live in Paradise! I am not shy about saying that I am not and never have been a fan of the cold. But I must say I am so thankful for the beautiful snow that fell over Idaho this past weekend. I got lots of texts and e-mail pictures from friends and family back west and it was so nice to see how pretty the ground looked covered in snow. But what made me even more happier is that it all happened way back in Idaho far far from me. I love to see the pictures because it is really just beautiful and there is something to be said about the magical feeling of the "first snow." Glad I got see the pictures, hear all about it and be a small part of it without having to actually be there. Brrrr.

We spent the past two weekends playing outside here and enjoying our own beautiful weather. Sunny and fabulous! Last weekend was Miami Beach and this past weekend we hit the pool a couple of times. We love the beach; building sand castles and snorkeling and just chillin. I haven't been out in the sun much so I was trying to sun my big belly. You wanted some preggo pics. Here they are!

Goggly eyes! Glade and I each got our own set of goggles. McCoy started using them while he was taking swimming lessons and he loves them and convinced Glade and I to try them out. Neither of us has had them before so we were like kids in the pool. We looked like such dorko's but we had a blast. The three of us would all go underwater and make faces at each other and just be silly. I never go under with my eyes open because of contacts and Glade doesn't either because he has very sensitive eyes so it was so fun for McCoy to have us under the water with him enjoying his underwater antics. He is such a nut. I need an underwater camera now. In this picture McCoy is wearing my goggles and I am wearing his.

Boo Boo's. Friday before class McCoy tripped and face planted it into the asphalt in the parking lot. His elbow and knee did not break his fall as much as his poor head. He immediately got a giant goose egg and started bleeding. He got up and ran away from embarrassment mostly and then cried briefly but as soon as I cleaned him off, He just couldn't wait to get to class to show his teacher and classmates his battle wounds. He is such a boy. I sat with him during the first few minutes of class just to make sure he was ok. (Overprotective Mother I know). We iced his goose-egg but he really didn't seem to bothered by it at all. I think it was an adrenaline rush for him more than anything especially with all the other kids coming over to check it out and wanting to touch it. Danger Boy Wonder! Oh my.

I took these pics two days later after the swelling went down. He is such a trooper. He was like, mom, they don't even hurt anymore why do you want a picture. I didn't have an answer for him other than I take pictures of everything in his life that happens to him. Big or small. He told me I take too many pictures! He's probably right but It's all part of the storytelling. Every story needs a picture. It really just reminded me of when he was a baby, just walking, and then a toddler who was always exploring. He ALWAYS had a bump or bruise on his head. It's been a while though. My baby boy is just too dang big. Four years old and I can't get enough of him. I want him to go back to being a baby, I want him to stay the age he is, and yet I can't wait for him to grow a little more because with each new stage comes something amazing out of this kid. He says and does so many cool things and I love all his stages, and all his bumps and bruises! My heart overflows with nothing but love for my little man. I can't wait to have two!

Can we Build it? Yes we Can! Of course as it is the first of the month we never miss our Home Depot Day/Dunken Doughnuts day! Here is the latest project.
