We have been so busy working since we got back from Idaho that we decided we needed to declare a Family Fun Weekend. So started off on Friday with a movie night. We watched Aladdin together and laughed so hard. I forgot how funny that dang genie was. McCoy was terrified of Jafar but thought the parrot was hilarious.
Saturday we headed out for a sunny day at our favorite animal attraction...Lion Country Safari. We let McCoy take the reigns and lead us around. We did everything he wanted to do which pretty much had nothing to do with animal attractions. Mostly he just wanted to ride the coin operated cars and the train. He didn't even need his stroller because he was so excited he just ran from site to site.
I also made homemade salsa for the first time ever! I was so stoked because it tasted awesome! Thanks again mom for the recipe and the over the phone guidance! It pales in comparison to yours but it was still pretty dang good! :) Glade was so excited!
Today we Headed out down to the Miami SeaQuarium and McCoy had an absolute blast. He loved watching the Dolphins from the underwater tank view. And He really got into the Whale and Dolphin show. But I think his favorite thing was probably the pirate ship playground. Glade and I always have so much fun just watching McCoy get his "this is AWESOME" face. His eyes grow to the size of silver dollars, his grin stretches clear around his face and his little tongue starts peaking out the corner of his mouth. It is the greatest thing in the world! We were planning to head to the beach afterward but by the time we got out of the park we were all so exhausted that we just headed home. McCoy slept the whole way home.
And once home we grabbed some pizza and strawberry shakes and watched the game, and you already know we had a good night! :) Go Washington!

Me & Uncle "J"
For the past few days I can not tell you how many times I have heard, "No Mom, that's not how Uncle Jordan does it," or "Nope, Uncle J says it like this." My boy sure LoVeS his Uncle Jordan and so do we. McCoy had a wonderful time while we were in Idaho, especially when he got to stay in Uncle Jordan's Room with all of his guitars. Poor Jordan, we kicked him out for a couple of days but he never complained. I love my little Bro so much, he is such a stud and Mac just thinks he is the greatest. Mac loves all his Aunts and Uncles but he knows that Uncle Jordan will play cars with him, or battle like pirates, or rock out for hours.
Jordan is so patient with Mac and so attentive to his constant need for attention. So I just had to give a shout out to my baby bro! You rOcK Uncle "J" and we love ya and miss ya bunches!!!!

Berry Banana Shakes make it all better...
Some would say its really not such a bad thing to get hurt around here...If you do happen to bump your head, stub your toe, or smash your finger...chances are your gonna get a yummy treat! I don't know what it is and I hate that I do it, but food always makes everything better! Especially yummy food. When McCoy is hurt sugar free Popsicles usually do the trick. Tonight was a pretty big booboo though (yup, another goose egg) so we had to break out the shakes. Red and Black Raspberries, Blue Berries, Bananas and a some ice milk make a yummy and slightly healthy feel better treat. I really hope I'm not alone in "Food Healing" concept. :)
Go Redskins!!!
Just had to put in a quick post! Redskins Won! We didnt get the game on any of our channels so we had to make an event out of it and we went out to my fav resturaunt Smokey Bones. They have the best BBQ food. We ate well watched a good game, it was almost close at the end but they pulled it off. I swear this darn team makes me crazy because Glade is so addicted to them. I hate to see him set himself up for heartbreak but Im right along there with him now. They had one touch down that was called back and when McCoy thought they made a touch down he was cheering and clapping and then we Glade told him it was no good he yelled, "Ahhh Nutts." It was pretty funny. (Thanks again Pops for these wonderful catch phrases.LOL)

Taste Sooo Good. . . Tastefully Simple!
So I attended a Tastefully Simple Party a couple of months ago and fell in love! The food was sooo yummy and beings that I am no great kitchen connisour, the Tastefully Simple food is awesome for me. It is quick and easy add one or two ingredients, mix bake and serve, what more could you ask for. The bread is what sold me though. It is amazing! I made a loaf yesterday and today Glade and I sat down to the last few slices. We didnt even put anything on it, we just tore it off the loaf and ate it. It is sooo yummy! I am having a Tastefully Simple party next week and am sooo looking forward to tasting some of the new stuff. Yum Yum! Plus Im just excited for an excuse to have another Girls night!:)

Feels Like Home
After a month and a half long tour...we are finally back! And it sure does feel good to sleep in my own bed, shower in my own shower and just slip right back into our comfy cozy not as laid back as I thought Florida life. I am already missing my fam back in Idaho and Utah very much but it is wonderful to be back. We got in around 1:00am Sunday night and spent yesterday and today just getting the house back in order and the office straightened out and we still have a ton of work to do but we have still found a few quick moments to goof off and play with all of Macs toys he brought back from Idaho.
We did so much while we were there and I have so many pics but here is just a few, ok more than just a few but hopefully not to much...
There was a also a big FIRST that happened while we were on vacation...McCoy received his very first STITCHES! Yikes I know. It was a scary ordeal - mostly for me. Mac was a trooper for most of it. He was running around playing with his cousins and Grandpa Peterson when he tripped and his head landed on the corner of Grandma Vicki's Piano bench. It caught him right about the eyebrow and just stabbed him good. He immediately started bleeding and the cut was so deep I knew he would need stitches. We hauled him off to Dr. Peterson's Home to confirm that yes indeed he did need to go the ER. So in we went and he had already stopped crying on the way to Doc Peterson's but as soon as we mentioned the hospital he got a little whiny. He didn't cry on the way to the hospital although he did find time to critic Grandpas driving. When we got to the ER he was fine and was playing on the hospital bed until they strapped him down. He let them do that without fighting but when they pulled his band-aid off and accidentally pulled out some hair, the show began. They covered his face which only made him more scarred and he called out: "I don't want to do this"...Please don't do this to me"...."I am not a tough guy" and my personal favorite..."I am soooo done with this." Poor boy, I know he felt every single one of those stitches being put in but as soon as it was over he was fine. It really wasn't bad for our first of what I'm sure will be many trips to the ER.
