Pops came to visit!

McCoy has always had a very special spot in his heart for his Pops. All last week he counted down the days, no hours until Pops' arrival. Friday could not come fast enough. We are so happy that Pops lives closer and we can't wait till Nana and Uncle Steve get closer too. It is still a whole days drive but we are so grateful that Pops made the trip down to come see us this weekend. McCoy enjoyed their time together and was very sad to see him go. I enjoy seeing my dad too. I LOVE Florida but I miss my family bunches, its hard to be so far away from everybody so I truly treasures these visits. We mostly spent our time just playing with the kids. It took Bentley a while to warm up and McCoy had to work on sharing his Pops time. He is so use to having Pops all to himself so it was new to have someone else stealing the attention hee hee. Saturday we hit the beach, we splashed in the waves and played in the sand but the favorite part was by far the kites. Both kids seemed to enjoy the dancing kite and it was really the perfect day a little windy and just right for kites.
After the beach we came home and grilled up some steak and had fajitas and the works for dinner and Key Lime Pie for dessert. Thanks again Pops for teaching us some awesome grilling tricks. We learn so much every time you come. And while I'm doling out thanks, Thank You Thank you for fixing that fridge door handle! Three years of a broken handle and you fixed it in three minutes! You da best dad!

We miss you bunches all ready and can't wait for the next visit!
