Easter Fun

These two little bunnies hopped into bed with Glade and I in the middle of the night. What a nice surprise for Easter Morning though :) After Church we had a little Egg Hunt in the backyard. Bentley's favorite game is gathering things and putting them in containers, (purses, bags, boxes, etc.), So naturally she LOVED egg hunting :)

Of course as soon as we got home McCoy stripped of his church clothes, he wanted to hunt eggs in his under ware but I got him to at least put some shorts on LOL.

We dyed eggs Saturday night. Nothing Fancy just old fashioned PAZ dye. But we had a lot of fun and got away with minimal mess so I deemed it a success. ;)

Saturday we participated in the Village Egg Hunt. It was CRAZY, there was HUNDREDS of kids but mine had a ball. They held the hunts on the baseball fields and had four different fields and different age groups. It was crazy but we can't wait to do it again next year.

Thanks to some good friends who let us join them, we were the first on field. McCoy had his basket full before some of the other kids even got let in. He was super fast this year. This is really the first year he as done a hunt. He never really got it until last year, but last year he was sick so yea, this was his first and he had a blast.

Bents even got to snag a few before the masses came.

Bentley would not go near this bunny! She screamed and clutched on to me, she didn't much like brother going near him either but she calmed down a bit when McCoy brought her back an egg from the bunny. She still eyed him though whenever he walked by.

12 on the ACTUAL 12th!!!

1) Time for School...McCoy doing his reading Q&A. He loves to read hates to write. It's a fun but challenging time of day. 2) First song of the day, Bruno Mars The Lazy Song. We love it. (Of course I turn the volume way down during the middle of the song), But other than that we sing it at the top of our lungs. 3) Every Tuesday is Scrap/Craft day at a friends and this is what I worked on today...Little rolled flowers for hair bows. (I did the easy no sew option obviously)

4)On the way home a garbage can dove right out in front of us and stole my mirror! :(

5)Spreading more Easter Love around the house

6) Project time for the kids-working on Easter cards!

7)Dinner: The Giant Chicken Taco Nacho! Chips, salsa con queso, beans, guac, sour cream, taco seasoned chicken, lettuce, tomato, olives, and more cheese simply for aesthetic appeal :) Yumm.

8)Shaken booty! No need to "Teach Me How to Jerk".

9)Bentley Loves her Pretty Pink Counting Purse and Bunny she got in the mail. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Peterson.
10) Bath Time: They normally don't bathe together but they have been inseparable lately. Last night McCoy actually begged me to leave her home with daddy and him while I went shopping. They are so cute together. I am so lucky!

11) Is that Dash Incredible I see??? After bath he got the dash hair do (slicked back hair) and so he had to don the suit too.

12)And Last but not least - Gonna curl up with a good e-read before bed. Just started this one yesterday. It will be my first real read on my new Kindle and I'm pretty happy about that :).

Birthday on the Beach

What a fun way to spend time with the family. My kiddos LOVE the beach and it is so relaxing for Glade and I. We both got some much needed sun too. McCoy has become so brave in the water. He loves to go out as far as he can reach and swim (doggie paddle) back in, he has a ball running into the big waves and pretending to "battle" the water. Bentley loves digging in the sand and she giggles when you take her out in the deep waters. We all have fun building sand castles and moats and just spending time together and enjoying this beautiful Florida weather. This truly is paradise.

Feeling Springy...

Found this super cute idea to wrap plastic eggs in twine. It was super easy and I love the look. I am going to do a few more and spray paint them light blue and put them in a nest.

Just another day at the Beach!!!

Chasing waves, feeling the ocean breaze, soaking up the sun, digging our toes in the sand, splashing in the water, building sand castles. Yup...just another day at the beach.
